Synopsis: Tenuous but engaging and intricate thriller about infidelity, murder and courtroom intrigue.
Stone is a lawyer who finds out that wife DeMille is cheating on him. He gets Guilfoyle off on a murder charge and uses the man for his own nefarious purposes. He arranges for DeMille and her lover Waxman to be killed, but the plan backfires with Stone ending up the corpse. The two lovers look guilty and Waxman kills himself, leaving DeMille destitute. Unable to live with the guilt, the real killer confesses to the crime. Notwithstanding many good moments, "The Judge" is hampered by pursuing too many tangents.
